If you are pregnant and reading this, we want you to know you are not alone! We have already prayed for you and have purposefully established Heart of Hope with you in mind. We know right now you are uncertain of what your future looks like. Heart of Hope – A Sanctuary for Women is a safe place, away from the confusion, chaos and pressures that may be surrounding you, where you can focus on the most important decision of your young life; being a parent. While living at Heart of Hope you will receive private medical care as well as professional counseling. This will make a significant difference in your own emotional and physical wellbeing as well as your unborn child's.

Since 2005, Heart of Hope has made careful and deliberate steps towards building a plan that focuses on meeting your needs during this time of your life. Being pregnant and walking the halls of your school can be scary. Heart of Hope meets your educational needs in our onsite computer classroom where our residents attend Monday through Friday. We follow the Caddo Parish School System's Calendar. If you are over the age of 18 and did not obtain a High School diploma, you will work to obtain a GED. Education is the foundation to build your independent life upon, and we are committed to help you succeed in this area in your life.

Along with continuing your education, we have established other important classes to prepare you for parenthood and independent living. You will attend classes on childbirth and parenting, prenatal and nutrition, boundaries, and other life skills such as budgeting, meal planning and cooking, and job/employment skills.

Living at Heart of Hope will be a major decision for you. You must be willing and ready to make positive changes in your life, not only for your sake, but for the sake of your child. Please go to our FAQ for answers to some more common questions. If you have already decided Heart of Hope is right for you, please fill out the Initial Contact Form and our Case Manager, Joy, will contact you within 24 hours.

Heart of Hope exists, because YOU do! Let us help you!
